Island Encounter-Engagement: Brittany and Andrew

Engagement
The story of "boy meets girl" is as legendary as ancient writings that chronicle all of creation. We witness this captivating story line of love in just about every novel that sits on the bookshelf, every drama that reaches the stages of broadway and in every movie theater across the nation as the hope for a romantic reality carries us through another day.

Brittany and Andrew's encounter simply began on an island. Surrounded by the waters edge, unexpected and unaware of each other, their journey to marriage paralleled their journey of faith while mutually serving on a missions team in the Bahamas.

His alarming sense of humor and wit kept her eyes dancing with laughter as we found ourselves capturing the obvious chemistry of these two throughout our time together. Brittany is pleasantly reserved and yet well defined with a clear understanding of who she is and where she wants to be...in this case, side by side Andrew as he leads them to an adventure of a lifetime!

Brittany and Andrew: We are ever grateful to have connected with you guys. Your sensitivity to each other and the people around you is refreshing making it a joy to spend time with you. Your simple availability to serve and connect is a testimony of your faith while your dedication to purity reflects your strength and commitment to love. Thank you for spending an amazing day with us and sharing your lives!

Kelli and Ricky: Engagement

Engagement
Long before she detected on her romantic radar, Ricky was in full pursuit of his future bride with his eyes fixed on the prize and his hand to the plow. They established a solid friendship, however, while Ricky was clearly developing feelings, Kelli was unaware of his intentions sensing that friendship was all he had in mind. Needless to say, they continued laughing together, playing together, sharing life together… and consequentially their story began to develop while the door to their hearts unknowingly began to open.

With great anticipation, Kelli and Ricky pulled into our driveway after five-hours of traveling from Gainesville ready to rest and relax in preparation for our early morning photo experience, which would indeed prove to be an absolute blast! With so much in common, it felt as if time slipped from our hands as we swapped stories, ideas, beliefs, and our experiences realizing that we were becoming connected as friends very quickly. Watching these two interact throughout the day only magnified what we already knew to be true of their genuine and sincere love for each other not to mention, their strong romantic connection which we captured with honor.

Kelli and Ricky: thank you for your friendship, your kindness, your laughter and sharing your life with us. We are grateful for your caring hearts and want to express our deep appreciation. We are looking forward to an amazing weekend with you guys… maybe we can fit a little triathlon training in there too…? The competition is on!

The shot through the Western Flyer, nice!!!, The B/W in the water is classic and i'm not going to say anything about catching the school of fish in the air cuz that's just ridiculous. Mirella and Alfredo Engagement

Engagement
In a majority of relationship scenarios, a simple question will lead us to great discovery. Do opposites really attract? Are laid-back introverts finding themselves drawn to the outward characteristics of die-hard extroverts or is this just another modern myth? And what about the physical components of blue eyes seeking brown or the blonde seeking brunette? Hmmmm, let’s see…

Matching college major...check. Identical career path…check. Same job placement…check. Laid-back personalities…check. Level temperaments…check. Compatible faith…check. Related circle of friends…check. Parallel passions and pursuits…check. How about matching birthdays…check.  Head over heals in love...?  Check!

Mirella and Alfredo seem to defy the elements of “opposites attract” and yet their love for one another is unshakable in the midst of the greatest storm as they pursue their personal and professional dreams together.

The way I see it, we are all looking for a balance point. Finding that perfect someone who allows us to be who we are while playing a complimentary role in our lives as we journey through the twist and turns that come our way.

Mirella and Alfredo, thank you for keeping life fresh and allowing us to enjoy this time in your life. We are looking forward to your wedding day.

So I was going to say the karate kick was my favorite picture, but now I'm torn between that and the one of the guy catching some "zzzzz's" on the bench. MIKE .. did you pay him? I see $1 in his hand. 4.3.09 at 3:17 PM

Sara and Peter Engagement

Engagement
So how many reasons do you really need to fall in love? As I once heard it said, there are some people who seem to be creating their story as they move along while another set of people seem to be living out what was designed for them. Well, with a deep appreciation for the finer details of living, both Sara and Peter radiate when they are in each other’s presence as they drink in all that life has prepared for them. You cannot find this type of love on a city street corner or local market place...it is a love rooted in friendship, respect, and passion. It's a love that says to the world, regardless what you can offer me, I have found my place with my lover and nothing else will do, nothing else will satisfy. To belong to someone who belongs to you is enough and yet Sara plus Peter equals much more.

Her chic and elegant style are overshadowed only by her warmth and unconditional acceptance of others while Peter's grounded and sincere character simply accompany his generous and friendly spirit. Between the both of them, their vibrant personalities light up the room and quite frankly made us feel like we were family.

Sara and Peter, thank you sharing this day with us. We can't wait for your wedding experience and look forward to being their every step of the way.

Suna and Scott: Engagement Session Central Park

Engagement
As fate would unveil, Suna and Scott's relationship surprised them both as matters of legal counsel quickly developed into undeniable attraction. Scott's collective demeanor and balanced persona met its match through a simple phone call that would reshape their reality, as Suna simply requested good advice and in return found the man of her dreams. With her captivating baby blue eyes and nurturing spirit, Suna's warmth and compassion captured Scott's heart making way for another New York romance.

We had the pleasure of connecting with Suna and Scott for the first time at a Miami wedding we documented of newlyweds Scott and Kimberly Goodwin. So after a few quick and easy phone calls, we realized we were flying out to NYC once again for an amazing five days of shooting their central park engagement session along with a soul felt wedding celebration at the University Club (that post is coming soon).
