Nadiesda Portrait Session
I had the distinct pleasure of working with the young, bright, and beautiful Nadiesda who flew in from Brazil to shoot with me in preparation for her big "Fifteen" celebration taking place back home this coming November. We had a fantastic day capturing her young and adventurous spirit as we toured through Viscaya in Coral Gables Miami. We had to resort to sign language from time to time considering I don't speak fluent Portuguese but in the end we were all laughing as the day unfolded perfectly. As always,
Nadia Lemos did an outstanding job on the makeup and once again I was able to team up with
Tracey and Martin from Tracey Ann Jarrett Photography to spice up the creative juices a bit.
Here's a portrait from the day as i'll be posting a preview soon...
Nadiesda: Obrigado pelo privilegio de ter feito parte desta data tão importante e por ser uma pessoa tão agradavel de se trabalhar. Eu estou animado para que você veja o seu album completo pois suas fotos estão ficando lindas.

Portrait: Rosie Hayden
So I pulled up to the residence of Vinnie and Rosie Hayden today expecting to run upstairs, connect with Rosie and makeup artist Nadia Lemos, and then back outdoors for a fun portrait session...but wait, as i walk into their apartment with windows facing east & west, the light was dancing across the room and simply screaming at me, "SHOOT HERE, SHOOT HERE MIKE!". Well a couple of hours later we finished the first part of our portrait session of Rosie Hayden who you might recognize as the talented wedding coordinator at Coco Plum Party Place in Miami. We had an amazing day with a few unexpected turns as we ventured outdoors (I'll share more on that in a later post).
A big thanks to Nadia Lemos for not only doing an amazing job with the makeup but also worked seamlessly with me as an assistant to help produce this amazing light.
And of course, thank you Vinnie for taking care of the family while we turned your wife into a model for the day, you are the best my friend.
Rosie, you look fantastic! I'm so grateful that we connected and are able to work with one another. Thank you for all you do...

Family Portraits
Good friends are like treasure - you have to look for a long time to find them and once you have them you should never let them go...John is one of those friends. Here's a few family portraits of John Yancey, his wife Linda and the three boys (John-James, Christian, and Nicolas). I love you guys and look forward to dinner with you...
