Suna and Scott: Engagement Session Central Park

Engagement
As fate would unveil, Suna and Scott's relationship surprised them both as matters of legal counsel quickly developed into undeniable attraction. Scott's collective demeanor and balanced persona met its match through a simple phone call that would reshape their reality, as Suna simply requested good advice and in return found the man of her dreams. With her captivating baby blue eyes and nurturing spirit, Suna's warmth and compassion captured Scott's heart making way for another New York romance.

We had the pleasure of connecting with Suna and Scott for the first time at a Miami wedding we documented of newlyweds Scott and Kimberly Goodwin. So after a few quick and easy phone calls, we realized we were flying out to NYC once again for an amazing five days of shooting their central park engagement session along with a soul felt wedding celebration at the University Club (that post is coming soon).

Kristin and Matthew Wedding

Wedding
Ceremony and reception: Biltmore Hotel Coral Gables
Creative Director: Bruce Barbaree
Hair Stylist: Gina Simone
Make Up: Megan Hill
Floral Design: Petal Production - Raffi Grosz
Dress Design: Monique Lhuillier
Shoes: Jimmy Choo

There is a look on every brides face that communicates one thing and one thing alone... We were greeted at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables with hugs and kisses as the gorgeous bride-to-be moved across the room with glowing anticipation. Kristin contained herself however her eyes clearly spoke - this is my moment to look and feel my very best as I am presented as a gift to the one man I will treasure for a lifetime to come. The day began with detailed preparation however before we knew it, Matthew was pacing towards his prize with an irreplaceable smile, her bouquet in hand, and a desire to hold close the future Mrs. Kristin Arbuckle Lazenby. Kristin and Matthew's guests sat in around, as the beautiful ceremony unfolded into the evening skyline - readings, vows, candles, rings... "you may kiss your bride!!" I was up far to late into the wee-hours of the morning creating this post with more images than I knew what to do with as I was looking forward to releasing every shot with a smile on my face. Every aspect of this amazing day fell perfectly into line and the celebration taking place at the reception displayed just that. Incredible food and atmosphere, great music, unforgettable dancing, lots of laughter, two genuinely heart felt families, and two amazing lives becoming one - what more could you ask for. Kristin and Matthew: there are no limits, there are no boundaries that hold you, there are no walls that hide you from all that life has in store for you two and your love for each other is evidence of just that. Thank you for inviting us to preserve each moment of this amazing day. :)

Sometimes things just happen

Engagement , Lifestyle
Okay, okay....so I've had my hands full with tons happening on both business and personal levels beyond what I ever expected - but along with the waves of "happen-stance" comes the trill of riding those waves and the great news of progress that creates history!! I'm looking forward to sharing the latest accomplishments of Mike Meyer Photography, future goals, hot releases, personal updates and well... just good ol' blog material to keep life interesting. For now, here are a couple images from an amazing engagement session of the past with Erika and Dustin that illustrate how the unexpected can from time to time just hit us out of nowhere - can anyone relate?

Marina Sablyak: I looked at your blog today trying to find the cell phone attachment for my husband. What a blessing to find the engagement pictures of my daughter and her husband! At this very moment my husband has some waves crashing on him, i.e. stress with a particular project at his work. Then I showed him the pictures, especially the one with the wave that looks like a heart. He then realized what is really important and how close our Father is to those who know Him and love Him. Thank you. Only One could have created such spectacular waves and only one, at that moment, could have captured it and "see" it. May God continue blessing people through you and through the gift that He bestowed on you. 3.6.09 at 10:06 AM
